Exit light bulbs and indicator lights come in many shapes, wattages, and bases. Exit lights are hard to change because you have to open each fixture to change the bulb. Because exit light bulbs are so varied, depending on the brand of fixture and when it was manufactured you will want to verify which bulb you are using in a particular fixture before ordering.Because exit bulbs are enclosed in a fixture heat build-up can cause premature burn-out.This is an excellent reason to consider changing to our LED exit light with a 25 year warranty.It comes two bulbs to a set and has an intermediate, candelabra and DC base for each bulb. So one size fits all. If you are not quite ready to change to LED at this time, using a good quality long life bulb will at least reduce the number of times necessary to get into the fixture.
