Marquee or sign lights come in all the colors of the rainbow. For a festive atmosphere in your restaurant, lounge, game room, or anywhere you need marquee lights that you don't want to be changing daily. Colored bulbs are getting harder to find these days. Bet you didn't know about all the labor that goes into making a colored bulb. First, the bulb has to be washed and roughened to hold the paint. Then it is dipped into the paint and put through a dryer. Many manufacturers have stopped doing this process because it is labor intensive, and if they go overseas to have it done, they can't get good color consistency. The difference between a transparent colored bulb and a ceramic colored bulb is, that to get a transparent bulb they dip a clear bulb and a frosted bulb to achieve the ceramic bulb. So, if you are using colored bulbs in your marquee better buy now before they decide to quit making them or your congressman decides to outlaw them.
